View condition. A bold design pair of crystal decanters, of a Nelson shape with cut glass decoration of panels and swags, set with a mushroom stopper; antique English Late Georgian style, William IV period from circa 1830.

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
