Beautiful Art Nouveau tea set trio in sterling silver, including a teapot, a sugar bowl and a creamer, set with floral shaped handles and with a slightly hammered surface, by Charles Edwards; antique English Edwardian, hallmarked for London 1908.

Style note — as a major international style, in different countries Art Nouveau had different names. For example, it was called Jugendstil in Germany, Secession in Austria, Stile Liberty in Italy and Modern in Russia. Essentially this was a new art and design, breaking away from the old, traditional aesthetics.
