Exceptionally rare small cabinet or cupboard in solid mahogany, made in the shape of a nonagon (9 sides), the door is set wit ha polished brass handle, interior with one shelf. Antique English William IV style, Late Georgian to early Victorian period, from the 1830s.

Condition: typical surface wear, solid structure

Size: Wide: 37 cm Height: 45.5 cm

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
