Beautiful small brooch in the shape of a flower sprig with a bow, sterling silver set with delicate paste stones; antique English Georgian style and period from the 1760s to 1770s. The metal is unmarked but tested as silver.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
