Rare small decorative urn in bronze, originally a wine urn, with sphinxes, lion head and griffin elements; antique English Neo-Classical Regency early 1800s.

Condition: some surface wear, minor dents

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
