Style note — homewares in the period between 1950s to 1970s were often produced in Modernist style. Defined by neat lines, bold and unusual colours and fairly minimalist shapes. All this often makes Modernist items very functional and timeless.
Facts of Lavish Good to know — porcelain, ironstone and pottery are tough materials. Wash all ceramics normally in a warm water with a sponge. Be more gentle with overglaze decorations.
