Imposing fruit or serving bowl in pale blue pressed glass, with panelled plain and chevron decoration and a petal rim; vintage English Art Deco circa 1930.

Style note — items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite – an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.
Facts of Lavish Tip — it's much better to avoid dishwasher for old glassware, although it is safe; but sand particles in the water will eventually make the surface dull.
