Elegant tripod wine table or lap stand in solid mahogany, the carved baluster column set with beautifully shaped legs. Octagonal top inlaid with a canted border. Antique English George II style and period, from circa 1790.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
