A rare and fine solid mahogany curule stool. The X shaped frame is set with an adjustable seat in two positions. The chair can be folded flat. Upholstered in red velvet fabric with an acid etched floral design. Bearing a patent number plaque on the base. Antique English Victorian style and period from the 1850s.

Condition: some surface scratches and dents, back seat fabric worn
