Delightful hand blown ale or champagne flute glass with engraved hops and barley, on an angular knopped stem, with a polished pontil; antique English William IV circa 1830.

Condition: minor surface wear

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
