Spectacular dessert wine glass, hand blown, set on a tall stem with an opaque twist, the bowl engraved with ferns and a jay bird; antique English Georgian style and period, from circa 1760. Base 6.5 cm diameter. Ideal for serving port and sherry wines.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
