Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
Facts of Lavish Cool tip — offer your guests the same wine, one properly decanted and another served straight from the bottle. Ask them to rate the taste. The difference should be obvious — decanter wins.
