The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.

Facts of Lavish History is cool — the word cutlery comes from an Old French word coutel, meaning a knife. Nowadays it refers to all types of dining and serving silverware.
