Beautiful ring in 15 carat gold, set with ten blue Ceylon Sapphire gems on a floral engraved shank, unmarked but tested for 15ct; antique English Late Georgian style and Regency period from circa 1810. Size: M1/2 (USA 6.5, Europe 53).

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
