Attractive bottle shaped decanter in dark Bristol blue blown glass, set with a silver plated collar and a cork stopper; antique English Georgian style and period, from circa 1810.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
