Opulent Art Deco tea set for six persons, including 6 cups and 6 saucers, with floral Woodstock pattern in pottery painted in black, green and pink colours, by Booths; vintage English circa 1930.

Style note — items in the Art Deco style were often produced using new materials of the period, such as stainless steel, aluminium and Bakelite – an early type of plastic. Bold colours were used to produce attractive design by creating strong contrasts.
Facts of Lavish Early Chinese teapots were quite small, designed for a single drinker rather than for sharing. Small teapot helps to create an intense tea flavour. The largest teapot we sold was 8 litres!
