Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
Facts of Lavish Did you know? Some round decanters make the wine swirl when it is poured in. It is similar to swirling wine in a glass, which makes it richer in taste and flavours by adding air.
