Spectacular large wine or champagne cooler in copper with clean tinned interior, of a cauldron shape with two handles, hammered surface with a decorative panel around the rim, by Carl Deffner; antique German Art Nouveau, Edwardian period from the 1900s. Originally this was designed as a punch bowl (see the additional image), with a glass liner and the covers.
