View condition. Spectacular set of six medium plates in bone china, green and gilded border, each plate is enamelled with a different floral pattern of the Georgian style; antique English 1830s.

Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
