Classical Georgian small ale or wine glass, decorated with engraved barley and hops. Set on a single knop stem and on a folded foot. Perfect for drinking port and sherry wines. Antique English from circa 1750. Base: 6.6 cm diameter.

Condition: scratches and some surface wear

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
