Attractive cut glass small decanter with geometric dark red pattern of the Art Deco style, set with a square stopper, by Karl Palda. Perfect for serving whisky and other liqueurs; antique Bohemian 1920s.

Art Deco style was a main step towards the modern product design, as we know it today. It replaced the nature inspired Art Nouveau and instead drew its inspiration from the age of machinery, the automobile, the moving pictures and the whole industrial progress in general; hence the prevalence of geometric forms in Art Deco items.
