Attractive moulded glass flask shape wine decanter with a hoop handle, set with a silver plated collar and cap, of a vivid amber colour. Antique English Georgian style and period, circa 1780.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
