Rare and important document approved and hand signed by Queen Victoria and Henry Campbell-Bannerman (at the time serving as a British Secretary of State of War and subsequently as a Prime Minister). Both signatures are very clean and strong.

Dated 28th May 1894
Sir Henry Campbell-Bannerman (1836-1908) served as a British Prime Minister between 1905 and 1908.

Printed document asking the Queen to approve a Volunteer Officer's Decoration.
Embossed VR monogram in the upper left corner. The document is printed on a large sheet folded in half, mounted under glass and framed in black and gold.

Condition: document folded and creased, visible small tear in the lower right, the frame with various chips and scratches.
