Beautiful and very well preserved 1940s ladies' cocktail bag or purse by Whiting & Davis of USA, made of metal mesh, set with an amber coloured lucite frame and handle and gold coloured clasp.
Size: the body approx 27 cm wide by 18 cm high, from the clasp to the top of the handle approx 11.5 cm.
Condition: Some wear to the gold plating on the clasp, some surface scratches to the lucite frame and handle, clean interior, a very well kept bag from a smoke free home.
