Fine desert wine glass, hand blown set on a tall stem with an air twist patter; antique English Georgian style and period, from circa 1755. Base 6.8 cm diameter.

Style notes — Georgian period mainly refers to the second half of the 18th century and up to the 1820s. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration.
