View condition. Rustic barrel shaped medium size decanter with panelled decoration, set with a bun shaped stopper; antique English mid 19th century. Good for port and sherry wines.

Style note — products made in the traditional Victorian style are often recognisable because of their lavish decoration. The design mixes various sources of inspiration, but the prevalent decorative features are rich floral ornaments, scrolls and foliage, often applied all over the items.
