Style notes — late Georgian period mainly refers to the early 19th century, up to 1838. The style was predominantly neo-classical, that looked back at the ancient Greece and Rome and used those elements in design and decoration. Most Georgian items have straight and very clean lines and elegant repetitive floral patterns.
Facts of Lavish Cool fact — Monteith is an antique British wine glass cooler in the form of a large punch bowl filled with ice, with a toothed or coronet shaped top that allows hanging stem glasses upside down.
